The Holmestead’s sourdough is made in small batches from unbleached organic flour, triple filtered mineral rich water from their well, wild yeast from starter, and Redmonds sea salt with 60+ trace minerals. This dough is fermented for several hours offering a lower gluten and glycemic content. It can be prepared in either a traditional artisan round loaf or sandwich style loaf (approximately 2 lbs).
