Faith in Jesus Christ

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as our one true Savior. We believe He was born, both man and God, of a virgin Mary, His death on the cross, and resurrection 3 days later. And by grace, we are saved through faith in the Messiah, and filled with the Holy Spirit. As followers of Christ, we are called to the great commission. To testify the good news – what Jesus has done for us in our lives.

Why is this important?

We represent the Lord by doing the best we can with what we have, serving others with excellence and integrity. (Colossians 3:23-24)

What he did for us; you too can receive. (Revelation 19:10)

Food is MEDICINE.

It’s no secret, that food plays a huge part in optimizing health, physically and mentally. It is a gift. By prioritizing quality and freshness, your body will thank you for it.

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

Genesis 1:29 KJV

FEEDING the HUNGRY and SUPPORTING ORPHANS

Our long term goal is to employ and house aging-out foster care women. Since we don’t have the resources quite yet, to fully steward that dream… For now, we delight in being able to donate food to those in need. Any unsold product from markets (fresh and delicious) is donated to various food banks and non-profit organizations. Nothing goes to waste.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

Matthew 25:31-46 KJV

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

James 1:27 NIV

EDUCATION is key for a thriving, healthy community. And it starts locally.

Learning to make and grow your own food is so important. Whether it’s facing food insecurity, or just seeking that rewarding, therapeutic feeling knowing where your food came from. Plus, it TASTES BETTER! That is why we have taught classes in the past and hoping to do more in the future. This is our goal once we have employees, to teach on a wide variety of topics related to food security. We hope to further foster a homesteading culture to help everyone on their own path of development build confidence in these areas.
