Greetings, friends. I’m so thrilled to present to you November’s newsletter!
It’s gotten chilly at the Holmestead. And we couldn’t be more excited. Be sure to check out this month’s Holiday Menu and featured downloadable recipes attached below.
From pumpkin to turkey shaped sourdough (that’s right I said turkey – it’s a great way to get laughs at your holiday event), to pans of gooey cinnamon rolls (our tradition Christmas morning), you’ll be sure to find a favorite this season. Spots are limited, so be sure to secure your goodies ASAP for Thanksgiving. Pickup and local delivery will be available.
Fall and year-round menus also have been updated. See below the increase in bread selections and flavors.

What’s Next?
Farm Stand for local pickup – predicted to open this week. Stay tuned for updates on social media.
Coming Soon!
Eggs production has slowly begun!
These eggs taste amazing. And it’s no wonder, with how I treat my animals and how fresh they are.
DID YOU KNOW the average egg in the store is 90 days old? Yikes.
I clean the chicken coop with nontoxic Thieves cleaner and feed them a nutrient dense diet of non GMO organic feed, a variety of microgreens, local bugs, and homemade raw yogurt, (and food grade diatomaceous earth and pumpkin seeds for regular “cleansing”) while they get to live their best lives in the sun. I can’t wait to invite you into this amazing process.
I will keep you updated as soon as I have enough to start selling. I will likely start by stocking the farm stand. Then will begin to offer at popups at Hotworx and the next time I do 2nd Saturday Market in Weatherford alongside my greens. 🙂

I got a good chuckle when I discovered their latest laying spot.
