The Holmestead’s chickens spend most of their time outdoors in the sun with plenty of room to roam around. They enjoy a rich diet in microgreens, local bugs, raw yogurt, homemade non GMO organic feed, and the occasional sourdough bread treat, with periodic pumpkin seeds and food grade diatomaceous earth in their rotation for “cleansing” purposes.

No harmful chemicals are used to clean their quarters, but instead nontoxic essential oils. If we don’t want it on our bodies, why would we subject our chickens to a toxic environment?
