Hello friends. Happy New Year!
What’s cooking at the Holmestead?
I think the more appropriate question is “what’s NOT cooking at the Holmestead?” Haha!
There is so much to cover – new partnerships, classes, and important payment updates as we grow, so I’ll do my best to summarize.

Where can you get our products now?
Parker County:
Local Pickup - ALL products – at the Farm Stand – Mondays and Thursdays Resuming the 8th. Preorder with card here. Preorder with order form if paying cash day of.
(You can still pickup eggs daily, but I’ve been wiped out of everything else until the 8th).
Delivery (microgreens only) through the Raw Milk Plus Coop every Thurs/Friday. This is a new partnership, and I’m so excited to be a part of this group!

Tarrant County:
Pickup at R and R Wellness Coop – sourdough, baked goods, and microgreens – every other Thursday. I sell out quickly, so be sure to get in ASAP and order a two week supply.

Local Delivery (all products) – please send inquires to me directly and I will get back with you.
Why the gap in local pickup?
Due to volume of orders and expansion of operations, I am taking a baking/growing break at the farm stand till the 8th, so be sure preorder for the 8th at the farm stand (you can still pickup eggs before then which I collect daily). I pulled two 22 HOUR SHIFTS in December, therefore reaching capacity. I asked the LORD what my focus should be this month, and He responded with prayer and sleep. So, I am looking forward to much needed rest. This encounter reminded me of 1 Kings 19: 5-18 where God instructed Elijah to sleep and eat to gain physical strength. Do not underestimate the power of taking care of your body by resting and refueling.
If you’re a visual person, this schedule may be helpful to you.

Lastly…

SOURDOUGH CLASS REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN

Spots are limited so be sure to sign up ASAP. Contact me to reserve slots. I couldn’t think of a better Valentine’s gift to you, a friend, or your spouse! I look forward to seeing you there.
Payment Policies:
As we have expanded, we have had to make the tough decision to switch to CARD AND CASH ONLY. No more venmo, cash app, or zelle. Why?
To be transparent, we have had products walk away without payment too many times. This is very frustrating to a small business owner who, again, is putting in hours of labor and thought into products, and not receiving payment.
I understand this may disappoint a few customers, but remember, most businesses accept cash and card. I encourage you to please preorder your products on link above at the farm stand or submit order form and pay with cash day of, OR to utilize the coops I am a part of.
If you attempt to pay me on venmo, I will refund you and cannot reserve your slot without proper payment. This is unfortunately one of the growing pains of a small business and appreciate your cooperation. This will allow me to streamline to provide even more products to our community, without compromising quality and nutrition.
With that being said, I wish everyone and amazing month, and hope to see you soon.
Blessings! 🙂
